Asian Media Access has supported the May 18 – May 19 MN Songkran Festival with Vaccination Clinic and Resource Table. Hosted by Thai Cultural Council Of MN, with more than 50,000+ visitors, we could not have asked for a better weather, better crowds, more delicious food, amazing performances!!!
Ms. Anna Sueangam-iam (Miss Universe Thailand 2022) and Ms. Chonnikarn Supittayaporn (Miss Thailand 2023) joined the Celebration. Their participation at musical chairs and papaya salad demonstration was definitely a hit! With more than 50+ performances and demonstrations, the peak came at the demonstration of the art of Muay Thai from Banchamek Gym (Buakaw Banchamek, บัวขาว บัญชาเมฆ), Chiang Mai, Thailand. Mr. Buakaw Banchamek has taught Minnesotans of Wai Kru Muay Thai – how exciting the Thai Boxing can be!!!!
