Asian Media Access

Asian American community in MN has come together to present the “Asian Extravaganza” Series during the May Asian Pacific Month

Local Asian cultural groups have organized a series of events around Asian arts, cultures and foods, under the banner – “AsianExtravaganza” to combat the Anti-Asian Hate, as well as sharing the cultural pride to support mental wellness for all.

• 05/19/23 (Friday) from 9am – 11pm to 05/20/23 (Saturday) 9am – 9pm – Asian Street Food Festival at 1850 White Bear Ave., Maplewood, MN 55109, hosted by The Hmoguls


• 05/19/23 (Friday) from 7:30pm to 05/21/23 (Sunday) 5:00pm – AAPI Generations Conference at Park Square Theater, St. Paul, MN, hosted by Theater Mu


• 05/21/23 (Sunday) from 1pm – 5pm – MN Korean Day at American Veterans Memorial Park, Hwy 57, Cannon Falls, MN, hosted the Korean American Association of Minnesota


• 05/27/23 (Saturday) from 11am – 9pm to 05/28/23 (Sunday) 11am – 6pm – MN Thai Songkran Festival at St. Paul Capitol in MN, hosted by Thai Cultural Council of MN, Asian Media Access, Chinese American Chamber of Commerce – MN, Windfall, LLC.

• 06/01/23 (Thursday) from 8pm to 10pm – Outdoor Dance Drama “Between Water and Clouds,” at Peavey Plaza, 1111 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55403, hosted by Asian Media Access, Pan Asian Arts Alliance, Phoenix Dance Academy, Chinese American Chamber of Commerce – MN

• 06/03/23 (Saturday) from 11am to 8pm Plymouth Asian Fair, at Hilde Performance Center in Plymouth, MN, hosted by West Metro Asian Fair (WMAF), Asian Media Access, and Pan Asian Arts Alliance

• 06/04/23 (Sunday) from 10am to 5pm – MN Hmong Arts and Qeej Festival, at Landmark Center, 75 W 5th St, St Paul, MN 55102, hosted by Hmong Cultural Center



We will open the series with Traditional acts and ended with Traditions as well, known as 傳奇風雅頌慶傳 series.
