The Minnesota Songkran Festival is a FREE event to experience the excitement of the new year and celebrate the beauty of cultural diversity. The event highlights authentic food vendors and souvenir boutiques that will keep everyone in the family AND our furry friends busy for hours! Visitors are more than welcome to wear traditional clothes at the event! Enjoy 2-days worth of music performances and traditional dances from various cultures. Last but not least, for the brave souls, we will be hosting our infamous papaya eating contest!!!!

Led by Asian Media Access, Pan Asian Arts Alliance and Phoenix Dance Academy, we bring in a unique place-based, outdoor, environment justice Dance Drama “Between the Water and Cloud (水雲間),” to support cultural exchange and mitigate Anti-Asian Hate crimes, as well as celebrate the theme with our younger generation on the landmark – June 1st International Children’s Day.
This Multidisciplinary Arts Showcase strives to share Asian cultures/arts with an environmental justice twist, and is designed to integrate an outdoor nature setting, to promote cross-cultural understanding and urge audiences to consider a greener/simpler post-COVID lifestyle.

Come to the West Metro, and enjoy the 1st hand of Pan Asian cultures, to:
• Build bridges between the various Asian-Pacific communities, as well as among them and the wider social fabric of Minnesota; and
• Showcase of various forms of Asian-Pacific artistic, cultural, and athletic activities through cultural performances, foods, martial arts, the healing arts, and Asian games, etc..

06/04/23 (Sunday) from 10am to 5pm – MN Hmong Arts and Qeej Festival, at Landmark Center, 75 W 5th St, St Paul, MN 55102, hosted by Hmong Cultural Center, and Asian Media Access.
This festival is a celebration of Hmong arts and culture that brings together Hmong artists, musicians, and community members from across the region. This year’s event promises to be even bigger and better than ever before, with non-stop Hmong cultural performances, and expected attendance of over 1,000 visitors.
