The FDA and the CDC both gave their official go-aheads for all adults to receive booster shots of the COVID-19 vaccines.

This week, the FDA authorized and CDC advisers recommended the Pfizer and Moderna boosters for all adults who received their second dose of those vaccines at least six months ago. Formal CDC approval is expected, updating the previous guideline that said only certain adults were eligible for boosters.
